Artist Residency at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts

I’ve completed one week of my two-week artist residency at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts. The daily studio time to work on a few projects has been wonderful, and the area is more beautiful than pictures can convey. Being in touch with the natural environment, including a too close for comfort bear sighting, has been inspirational. I have also enjoyed my time with fellow resident artists. I’m looking forward to another week of work, relaxation, hiking, artist talks, and maybe some horseback riding. Woo-hoo! or better yet, Yee-haw!
